Job Location or School Name
A valid West Virginia endorsement to teach grades K-6; Master’s Degree in Administration, Instruction and Supervisory or Leadership preferred, but not required. Duties will include supervision of PK, Kindergarten and Elementary Instructional Program and Instructional Coaching in designated classrooms. Successful applicant must demonstrate: evidence of successful experiences in addressing student achievement and student needs; excellent work attendance; outstanding evaluations; organizational skills; ability to problem solve; knowledge of county-wide and state policies and procedures; ability to work cooperatively with others and to work effectively as a member of the educational team; organizing and leading county academic contests and the professional development initiatives; assist in planning and conducting county academic competitions; excellent oral and written technology and communication skills; successful completion of the interview process. Specialized training is to include: Acuity, STARMATH, WV Writes, DIBELS NEXT, mClass Math, Fast ForWord, Academy 5, Everyday Math; Instructional Coaching, Common Core, WVEIS, elementary curriculum, reading and mathematics instruction, improving achievement, test item analysis and interpretation, human relation skills; classroom management and parental engagement.
