Hold or be eligible for a valid West Virginia teaching certificate with proper endorsement in Autism for grade levels included with the specific school. Specialized training is to include: functional behavior assessment; behavior intervention plans; positive behavior support; individual education plans; student confidentiality; Learning Focus Strategies; instructional strategies; motivational techniques; classroom management; parental involvement.
