Substitute Bus Operators

Description
Applications for substitute bus operators are now being accepted. Applicants must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Applications will be screened; a review of the driving record and a criminal background investigation will be conducted on all applicants. Persons selected for testing will be required to pass a state competency test in order to meet the definition of the classification title before entering such a category. Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing CDL licensing with a passenger endorsement. Applicants must complete the training and pass the state certification for employment. Successful completion of the test does not assure that the applicant will be employed.  
Applications will be accepted from April 11, 2013 through June 30, 2013. Positions will be filled on an as needed basis and applications will be acted upon the sole discretion of Upshur County School system.
