Description
The person employed for this position must be certified to teach at the elementary programmatic level. The person should be certified as a reading specialist. The Title I teacher may be expected to share equitably normal supervisory duties at the school expected of other professional personnel. The person employed for this position may also be required to work with students in the development of mathematical skills. The successful candidate must meet or agree to attain Highly Qualified Teacher status. Specialized training: Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated successful experience implementation of Title I program in the elementary schools. This position will be effective with the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year.
