Description
Assignment:  
-Work in collaboration with school administration, counseling staff,  
nurses, school psychologists, specialists, community partners, and  
instructional staff to address the needs of identified students.  
-Provide social services and support from school to student to home.  
-Monitor attendance, behavior, and core performance of at-risk students. 
-Other duties as assigned by the superintendent.

Qualifications
Applicant must hold a West Virginia Social Work License. Three (3) years successful experience as a social worker preferred. Specialized training related to the job includes: knowledge, training and/or experience in school attendance, drug & alcohol prevention, crisis intervention and case management skills. Appropriate certification and/or licensure required according to WV Code.

Salary
State minimum salary based on degree and experience plus equity. Funding through the Innovation Zone Grant.

Effective February 13, 2013 through June 30, 2013 – term of employment 94 half days. NOTE: Term of employment is 200 half days each fiscal year thereafter, until the expiration of funding through the Innovation Zone Grant.
