Qualifications
This position will be filled with the most qualified applicant pursuant to the criteria set for the in WV Code 18A-4-7a, based upon the following minimum qualifications: 
-Applicant must have at least three years of successful teacher or administrative experience; preference at the grade level K through 8 
-Hold, or be eligible for, a valid West Virginia administrative certificate at the appropriate programmatic level (K-8) 
-Completion of the WV Evaluation Leadership Institute preferred  
-Successful completion of interview process, as determined by the superintendent and/or interview committee 
-Knowledge in elementary/middle school curriculum preferred  
-Knowledgeable in County, State , and Federal policies  
-Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others and as a member of an educational team 
-Effective written and oral communication skills  
-Capable of performing the duties as outlined in WV Code 18A-2-9

State minimum salary based on degree and experience plus equity (includes State Minimum Salary Increment Schedules)

Effective 2/13/13, for the remainder of the fiscal year (89 days)(220 days each year thereafter) (If the successful applicant is unable to begin until the 2013-2014 school year, a substitute will be placed in the assignment for the remainder of the year.)
