Ms. Elizabeth J. Parmer
Director
Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center
Route 1, Box 542-A
Grantsville, West Virginia 26147
Dear Ms. Parmer:
This is in response to your letter of June 25, 1997, in which you request an
interpretation regarding the use of county buses for transportation relating to
multi-county vocational schools.
Specifically, you ask whether there are any policies, opinions, or rulings which
mandate that multi-county centers only utilize the fiscal agent county buses. The
answer to your question is no. A multi-county vocational center may use buses
from any of the counties participating in the vocational center. Therefore, in your
particular situation, you may use either Gilmer or Calhoun County buses.
Hoping that I have been of service, I am
Sincerely, /s/
Henry Marockie
