Observation Forms

Teachers and administrators often ask us what a Project Based Classroom would look like, and we are prompted to provide specific observations that can be made in a classroom in which students are engaged in quality PBL. The links below open documents that teachers can use as a self-assessment rubric to refine their classroom behaviors, or teachers wishing to refine their practice may want to engage in a peer observation process built around these documents. The documents may also be used by administrators as they observe classrooms where project based learning is taking place.
