Starlab Portable Planetarium

About StarLab

STARLAB offers the ideal solution for OIEP schools who wish to familiarize students with astronomy. An inflated structure 16 feet across and 11 feet high, STARLAB can accommodate up to 25 students.

The star instrument can project the sun, moon, stars and planets. A special projector is used to project constellation outlines and a slide projector is used to show what objects look like close up

Free Software! STELLARIUM

What is this Stellarium?
Stellarium is a free, open source planetarium for your computer. Stellarium will show you what the sky really looks like in 3D. You'll be able to view the entire sky and constellations, or you can zoom in and see the stars as if you had a telescope! Use Stellarium to examine start constellations, zoom in on other planets and solar systems, and explore space.
Many planetariums use Stellarium to project their star shows.
