technology using the Learning-Focused Model? Answer:
The Learning-Focused
Schools Model lends itself quite nicely to the integration of technology.
An instructor can easily use computer-aided instruction such as
PLATO and Destinations in the acceleration and extending and refining
stages of this model. By creating a prescribed lesson, the
instructor can have the student accelerate/preview upcoming topics
and be able to use thinking skills to extend or refine their knowledge
for deeper and more meaningful understanding.
