Attendance
and Punctuality
The Department expects regular attendance from all employees. Supervisors shall ensure that the work of the office and organization is able to continue when considering all leave requests. Employees are required to be on time and ready to work at the beginning of their scheduled work periods.
The
executive director/immediate supervisor is responsible
for verifying the attendance records of all employees under her or his
supervision at the end of each month. If
an employee's attendance record suggests a problem the executive
director/immediate supervisor shall hold a conference with the employee to
identify and resolve the problem.
Employees with attendance problems are subject to unsatisfactory
personnel evaluations and/or disciplinary action including possible
termination.
