Learning Plan Title: “Make a Plate”

Objective:

HE.K.1.5 Describe the role that healthful food plays in developing and maintaining a healthy body and mind.

Performance Descriptor:

Mastery Level:  Students will identify characteristics of healthy snacks and describe the role healthful foods play in developing and maintaining a healthy mind and body.

Materials:   Paper plates with pictures of food glued to them to represent meals that could be served at breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
