State and National shortage of TB Testing Serum (PPD/Tubersol)

Please note:   At this time, TB Testing is suspended for all individuals falling under the school testing requirements in W.Va. Code 16-3D-3.

A TB Risk Assessment will be completed by the local health department or medical provider.  If the individual is low risk then a letter

will be provided with future call-back once the shortage has ended.  All high risk individuals will have to complete blood work called

a T-SPOT by the local health department with results read before entering the school building.
