If you have registered for WVDE eLearning in the past but do not know your username please e-mail WVLearns@access.k12.wv.us. Include your full name (first, middle, and last), school and county of employment and any e-mail addresses you may be using. This information will allow the WVLearns administrator to find your past registration based on the email address which was originally used for registration.
If you know your username or registered with your access email account (use the first part of access e-mail account as your username), go to http://wvlearns.k12.wv.us/index.asp. On the left side of the page enter your username and click “forgot password” to enable WVLearns to email you with your password.
This training is geared for nurses working with the pediatric population, and health care providers treating children in rural and underserved communities where pediatric dental care is more restricted. The training is designed so that the participant can take the entire training or only the sections for which they have an interest. The American Academy of Pediatrics will provide you with a certificate of completion with hours logged documented upon completion. The WVDE Office of Special Programs will provide you with one nursing contact hour per 50 minutes of PACT training.
First go to http://www.aap.org/oralhealth/pact/index.cfm to access the training modules. At the end of each module complete the post-test for CME credit. Once you have completed all the modules you desire (potential for 13 modules), please submit your CME certificate(s) to WVDE Office of Special Programs along with the registration form below to receive nursing CEU(s).
Please register for the WVDE-Office of Special Programs Nursing CEU(s) Registration Form after fully completing the desired AAP oral health online training modules and receiving your CME certificate(s).
