Scheduling Your Test Date
Now that you have completed the GEDWizard, you will need to schedule your testing date. Call the Official GED® Testing Center™ you have selected as the location for your testing sessions to make an appointment to register in person and to schedule your testing date. Another advantage to scheduling your testing date in person is that it gives you a chance to determine how long it will take you to get there, check out the parking options, and become familiar with the facility prior to testing day.
What do I have to bring to the Testing Center when I schedule my testing date?
- Valid photo identification with your current name and address, birth date, and preferably a Social Security number is required prior to all testing sessions. Only the following are accepted:
- A valid driver's license.
- A valid Department of Motor Vehicles picture identification.
- A valid passport
- An institutional identification while a resident of the facility (i.e., Job Corps, correctional institutions, etc.)
- Mountaineer Challenge Academy (MCA) cadets may use the MCA ID during the post-residential phase of the program by providing documentation of their status with MCA.
