Cedar Lakes Conference Center Mission Statement

It is the mission of Cedar Lakes to provide leadership and educational opportunities with quality service in an outstanding environment. Our objectives are:

To develop leadership
To train for useful citizenship
To encourage organized recreational activities
To develop moral and ethical standards
To promote the improvement of agriculture, industry and business
To promote the conservation of human and natural resources
To foster closer relationships between youth and adults
To broaden acquaintances and develop a cooperative spirit (by living and working together)
To promote better home and family life
To create interest in crafts
To provide experience in conducting meetings according to parliamentary procedure
To train for participation in local, state and national adult organizations
To develop patriotism

Upcoming Events

Grand Illumination - December 1

At 7pm the Ripley High School Band will play Christmas Carols while marching around the main circle at Cedar Lakes. As they march the lights will be turned on to commemorate our 11th Annual Winterfest Light Show.

Winterfest Dinner Theater - Dec. 12 & 13

Featuring the Jackson County Players performing "All I Need for Christmas". Dinner is served at Lakeview Dining Hall at 6:30 pm with the play following in the same location. Tickets must be purchased in advance by December 10. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and 1/2 price for children ages 2-5 and may be purchased at the Cedar Lakes office or the Ripley Library.

Half Price Lodging - Nov 24, 2014 - Dec 31, 2015.

All hotel and motel lodging will be half price during these dates. Rooms in Holt Lodge hotel will be $36.00 per night for one or two people in the room. There is a $5.00 charge for the third and fourth person. Motels are booked for groups only and the price will range from $25.00 to $30.00 per room. Dorm lodging is excluded and will remain at full price.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICES

Cedar Lakes Craft Show - Cedar Lakes has decided to collaborate with the Ripley High School FBLA for the craft show on December 6. This will allow customers a larger array of handmade items all in one location. The show will be from 9-3 in the Ripley High School Annex and crafters will set up in the cafeteria and the hallways.
