Joseph A. Wallace


Joseph A. Wallace was a graduate from The Mercersburg Academy, Michigan State University and Tulane University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. Joseph is the recipient of the Distinguished West Virginian Award, which is the State of West Virginia’s highest civilian award. He also received the West Virginia State Bar Certificate of Merit Award. Joseph has been named West Virginia’s Socially Responsible Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine. Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch among the other honorees. He served as a combat army officer in the U.S. Army and has led a number of organizations. Joseph is active in his community and has served several organizations including the West Virginia State Bar, Board of Governors and West Virginia Defense Trial Counsel. He is responsible for initiating the practice of mediation in West Virginia with U.S. District Judge Robert E. Maxwell. He currently practices law in Elkins, WV.
