Call to Order



President Cleo P. Mathews called the meeting of the West Virginia Board of Education to order at 1:10 p.m. on October 7, 1999, in the offices of Shaffer & Shaffer, 2116 East Kanawha Boulevard, Charleston, West Virginia. Members present were Secretary J. D. Morris, Sandra M. Chapman, James J. MacCallum, Jim L. McKnight and Paul J. Morris. The Board met with representatives of the Isaacson, Miller consulting firm to discuss developments in the search for a state superintendent of schools. No business was transacted.



II.

Adjournment



Upon motion by Paul J. Morris, second by James J. MacCallum, the Board adjourned at approximately 2:50 p.m.
