Call to Order



President Cleo P. Mathews called the special meeting of the West Virginia Board of Education to order at 8:00 a.m. on September 8, 1999, in the Little Big Green Room at the Radisson Hotel in Huntington, West Virginia. Members present were Vice President Gary G. White, Secretary J. D. Morris, Sandra M. Chapman, James J. MacCallum, Jim L. McKnight and Paul J. Morris. The Board met with representatives of the Isaacson, Miller consulting firm to begin development of a plan of action in the search for a state superintendent of schools. No business was transacted.



II.

Adjournment



Upon motion by Paul J. Morris, second by Jim L. McKnight, the Board adjourned at approximately 12:30 p.m.
