Call to Order



President James J. MacCallum called the regular meeting of the West Virginia Board of Education to order at 9:05 a.m. on June 4, 1999, in the Board Room at offices of the West Virginia Board of Education, Charleston, West Virginia. Members present were Vice President Gary G. White, Secretary Cleo P. Mathews, Sandra M. Chapman, Michael D. Greer, Sheila M. Hamilton, Jim L. McKnight, J. D. Morris, and Paul J. Morris.

Superintendent Search Process



The process/procedure for filling the position of State Superintendent of Schools, to be vacated June 30, 2000, was discussed. No motions were made and no action was taken.



III.

Adjournment



Upon motion by Gary G. White, second by Jim L. McKnight, the Board adjourned at approximately 10:45 a.m.
