Arts Alive was live streamed!

West Virginia Public Broadcasting partnered with the West Virginia Department of Education to live stream Arts Alive. A guiding goal of Arts Alive 2014 was to expand the accessibility of this event to those who are not able to make the trip to Charleston and to produce a professional, archival copy for educational purposes. We were thrilled that many more people got to join us live as we celebrated outstanding arts education programs and student achievements in WV public schools.

Arts Alive 2014

The West Virginia Department of Education hosted its eighth annual arts showcase, Arts Alive, on Friday, April 4, 2014, at the Clay Center in Charleston. The Arts Exhibit opened at 6:15pm and the Performance began at 7:00. Admission was free and open to the public.

Representatives to the planning committee include members of all major arts education professional organizations in West Virginia: The West Virginia Art Education Association, The West Virginia Music Educators Association, and West Virginia Thespians.
