Here are some suggestions for winding down in the evening:

  • Take a warm bubble bath
  • Play a game with your children  
  • Enjoy an hour of quiet time
  • Read the newspaper
  • Listen to your favorite music
  • Prepare a favorite recipe
  • Receive a neck massage
  • Take a brisk 20-minute walk

Try practicing some of these techniques the next time you feel really stressed out. Figure out which ones will work for you and which ones won't. You will find you will feel more mentally alert and physically able when you reduce some of the stress in your life.
