Stress is part of everyday life.
In this module, you will learn how to define stress, how
to manage stress, and how to reduce it. Stress affects the mind,
the body, or more often both. Hopefully, this section
will allow you to develop strategies to help deal with stress.
The first step in
managing stress is to identify how stressed we may be. The exercise
on the following page is designed as a reflective assessment. By
that we mean that you will NOT submit this information to anyone,
it's provided only as a tool for you to identify what stressors
you may have in your life.
We all experience
stress in many different forms. It's important that we recognize
what causes us stress so that we can work to minimize
in our lives.
