Workforce Investment Board, Mid-Ohio
Valley - The Workforce Investment Board (WIB), Mid-Ohio Valley, in
conjunction with the State Department of Education has determined
the skills requested by Region 4 employers.
West
Virginia Bureau of Employment -
Local offices in the Region 4 Workforce Investment area are located
in Parkersburg, WV and in Point Pleasant, WV.
Workforce WV
Centers - Workforce WV Centers are funded by the
Workforce Investment Board
(WIB), Mid-Ohio Valley. Through collaboration
with other local and state agencies, they offer a comprehensive
array of services for job seekers and employers. These services
include access to local labor market information, resume writing/interviewing
techniques, academic remediation, job search workshops, as well
as funding assistance for college/vocational training in identified
demand occupations. To qualify for funding assistance, you must
meet established income guidelines or have been dislocated/laid
off from employment. Funding priority is given to residents of Region
4 and other restrictions may apply. To see if you may qualify, contact
